Privacy Policy
Last updated: 9 June 2026
PrymeKids ("PrymeKids", "we", "us", or "our") operates prymekids.com and provides live, online learning programs for children. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you. We are committed to protecting the privacy of the families and children we serve.
1. Who this policy covers
Our services are purchased and managed by parents and legal guardians ("you"). Children use the service only under a parent/guardian account. We do not knowingly allow children to create their own accounts or provide personal information directly without parental involvement.
2. Information we collect
- Parent/guardian account data: name, email address, phone number, password, billing details, and country.
- Child profile data: first name, age or grade, and learning preferences you provide to match classes.
- Class activity: attendance, lesson progress, teacher notes, and participation in live sessions.
- Payment data: processed securely by our payment providers (e.g. Stripe, Paystack). We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and usage analytics collected via cookies and similar technologies.
- Marketing data: if you arrive through an ad or sign-up form, limited campaign and contact information.
3. How we use information
- To create and manage your account and enrol children in classes.
- To deliver live lessons, schedule sessions, and track learning progress.
- To process payments and send service-related communications.
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- To improve our programs, secure our platform, and prevent fraud.
- To send marketing about PrymeKids where permitted — you can opt out at any time.
4. Children's privacy
We comply with applicable children's privacy laws, including the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent provisions in Canada and other regions. We collect the minimum information needed to provide classes, only with parental consent, and we never sell children's personal information. Parents may review, update, or delete their child's information at any time (see Section 8).
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us operate (hosting, payments, video classes, email, analytics).
- Our teachers, limited to the information needed to run a child's class.
- Authorities where required by law, or to protect the safety of a child or others.
6. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and support marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Some features may not work without them.
7. Data retention & security
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations, then delete or anonymise it. We use technical and organisational safeguards to protect your data, though no method of transmission is 100% secure.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@prymekids.com or follow our data deletion instructions.
9. International transfers
We operate primarily for families in the U.S. and Canada and may process data in other countries where our providers operate. We take steps to ensure your information remains protected wherever it is processed.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
